The opening few pages of this book grabbed my attention. Ms. Gray’s words pulled me into the story
immediately and I was hooked. The descriptions were so vivid, that I could almost feel the wind from
the chopper’s blades and the emotion surrounding Suzanne. Suzanne was given a harsh wake up call
when the bullet slammed into the tree beside her. She knew that she could not live in a war zone,
but did not know how to convince Peter to leave as well. She has survived since leaving Peter, but
there is still something missing from her life. Peter is a cocky, self-assured man who has literally
been to hell and survived to tell the tale. He is definitely a prime alpha male who has met his match
in Suzanne. Their desire for each other never died and flares to life when they meet again.
This story goes from war torn Bosnia to sun-drenched Hawaii, from one war to another. There is
something going on in Hawaii, but exactly what and who is involved only gradually becomes clear.
The waterfall scene has to be one of the most sensual scenes I have read in a long time. Snapshots
is a definite winner in my book.

Snapshots is a page-turner that thoroughly captivates. It is a story where the reader is actually
touched by all the emotions emitted by the believable characters. I loved Suzanne and Peter and
the roles they played, and the secondary characters blended in well, making the read even more
fabulous. S.K. Gray generates a fast-paced explosive story. She gives the reader a feel of the
surroundings while heating up superb banter between the characters. This read should not be
overlooked.
